I’m Dr. Victor Matthiesen, a chiropractor with a passion for helping individuals and families live healthier, more active lives. I grew up in a small town in West Texas, where I developed a deep love for sports, the outdoors, and serving others. My journey into chiropractic care began after a sports injury led me to a local chiropractor who made a lasting impact on my recovery and ultimately inspired me to pursue this path myself.
After high school, I attended Howard College, where I earned my associate’s degree while continuing to stay active in sports and community life. With a clear vision for my future, I moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to attend Parker University, where I completed both my bachelor’s degree and Doctorate of Chiropractic. My time at Parker was both academically and personally life-changing—during my clinicals, my wife and I welcomed our first daughter, which gave me a deeper appreciation for the importance of family wellness and pediatric care. That experience helped shape not only the direction of my career, but also the kind of compassionate, family-centered care I strive to offer every patient.
My focuses are on family wellness, athletes, and pediatric care. I utilize a variety of chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Thompson, Activator, Gonstead, and Sacro-Occipital techniques, tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find me playing sports, hiking, camping, or spending quality time with my wife and our two daughters. I believe in living an active, balanced life and strive to help my patients do the same.
